J'ai déja reçu des nouvelles de Jackie !

Elle n'était pas encore arrivée chez elle, au Texas, mais grâce à la technologie elle m'a transmis ceci...

Voici la petite vidéo accompagnée de ses commentaires et les photos très émouvantes de ses parents ainsi que l'article qui leur est consacré aujourd'hui dans Vosges matin.

I got news from Jackie this morning! Even if she wasn't yet at home (in Texas) thanks "technology" she sent me this video with her own comments and the wonderful photos of her parents !

It was awesome and beautiful. I will never regard Memorial Day the same. It has so much more meaning now. I thank the French and American people who take such good care of those Americans who have been loved and missed but will be forever remembered and honored on this sacred ground. "

Imaginez 5255 drapeaux américaindset français flottant ainsi ensemble.

C'était impressionant et très beau . Je ne verrai plus jamais le Memorail Day de la même façon. Cela signifie tellement plus maintenant .Je remercie toutes les personnes, américaines et françaises qui prennent soin de tous ces Américains qui ont été aimés et qui ont manqué à tous mais dont on se souviendra à jamais et qui seront toujours honorés sur ce sol sacré.

Jackie's father died at the age of 23 in Lunéville ( Lorraine) in november 1944. Her Mother had sent a letter where she told him about the birth of their daughter but he had'nt received yet ....

Merci de nous faire partager tes émotions. Il ne faut pas oublier tous ces hommes qui sont morts loin de chez eux afin de nous libérer de l'ennemi. Sardou chantait si bien "Si les Ricains...". Douce soirée.
