I called this quilt like this as it reminds me the great time I spent with Marcia and Marilyn in september 2010 at marcia's cabin !

97 hexagons + hollow cubes blocks (1,80m x 1,45)

and just near

" Itasca"

made with the same technique ( octogons)

It was the first time I quilted a so large quilt on my sewing machine, not easy as there is not enough place even with the extension table ... but thanks the good advices of my friends .. I DID IT !
