club de patchwork à Arches / quilting group in Arches

Nous avons fait notre deuxième rentrée en septembre et nous sommes toujours aussi pressées de nous retrouver, chaque lundi, de 16h00 à 20h00, à l'espace associatif d'Arches

Les passionnées qui font partie de notre petit groupe, connaissaient déja les techniques de base, que ce soit à la main, à la machine, en traditionnel ou plus contemporain . Ces dames excellaient aussi dans d'autres techniques comme le point compté et, après plus d'une année ponctuée par nos rencontres hebdomadaires ....que de jolies choses réalisées grâce aux conseils de chacune, aux échanges riches d'enseignements et au travail sérieux mais .... toujours dans une ambiance très conviviale!
Certaines ont commencé à apprécier, de plus en plus, le travail à la machine après s'être essayées à des techniques simples aux résultats spectaculaires ... mais nous continuons toujours à réaliser de très beaux travaux à la main, en appliqué surtout et dans un beau style country !

In september it was also the reopening for our quilting group in Arches. Two years ago,I decided to share my passion with others ladies who knowed, for most of them, the first steps in patchwork, as well by machine or by hand, in traditional or more contemporary . Some of these ladies are very talented in embroidery too and after more than a year , they have made such beautiful things thanks all the advices of each one during our weekly meetings where the exchanges and the good mood are essential !
They have learned more techniques, especially by machine but continue to work by hand, most of the time in appliqué and in a country style!
We are meeting every monday from 4.00 to 8.00 pm and after a a year we are always so impatient to meet us again every week!

If you are not far ..., don't hesitate to come and visit us ( I know it is a bit difficult for all my friends living over the atlantic and further..... but I'm thinking of you and I'm often talking about you with my quilting friends here !) Meanwhile, I have put a new album with others photos !
